On March 25, Wu Shicun, Chairman of the Huayang Center for Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance and Chairman of the Academic Committee of the National Institute for South China Sea Studies (NISCSS), met in Boao with Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, President of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam, and his delegation. The two sides exchanged views on advancing China–Vietnam Track II dialogue, think tank exchanges, and the regional security situation.

Also attending the meeting were Xu Xiaodong, Executive Vice Chairman of the Huayang Center for Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance; Chen Pingping, Director of the Department of International Exchanges and Academic Cooperation at the NISCSS; and Yan Yan, Research Fellow at the NISCSS.
