The Huayang Center for Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance, the National Institute for South China Sea Studies, and the Asian Academy of International Law will jointly host the "Roundtable Dialogue on South China Sea Security and Launch for A New Critique of the South China Sea Arbitration Award" in Hong Kong, China, on July 13.
The event will bring together prominent experts and scholars from China and abroad specializing in international law, maritime security, regional and country studies, and other fields related to the South China Sea, as well as government officials, foreign diplomatic representatives in China, and representatives of international organizations and media institutions.
Participants will engage in in-depth discussions on such topics as "A New Critique of the South China Sea Arbitration Award:
Jurisdiction, Legal Flaws, and Implementation Challenges," "Assessment of the South China Sea Security Situation and
Risk Response," and "Maintaining Stability in the South China Sea: Laws, Rules, and Order." The report A New Critique of the South China Sea Arbitration Award will also be officially launched during the event.
